Héritage

1947
Jean Cid Dos Santos réalise la première endartériectomie fémorale à Lisbonne. L'opération sera reproduite pour la 1ère fois sur la bifurcation carotidienne, par Mikael DeBakey à Houston en 1952.
1990
Juan Carlos Parodi réalise la premièere implantation d’endoprothèse aortique pour le traitement d’un anévrisme de l’aorte abdominale.
2004
Création du DESC de Chirurgie Vasculaire (Diplome d'Etudes Spécialisées Complémentaires).
2008
Création de l'association loi 1901 SICCV par Salma El Batti (Présidente), Rabih Houbballah (Trésorier) et Julien Brossier (Secrétaire Général).

Première édition, de la maintenant mythique, soirée de la SICCV! Au congrès de la SCVE à Grenoble

Le bureau de la SICCV s'élargit et devient pour la premère fois de son histoire, 100% féminin! (En attendant le retour de la parité...)
